Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm | On-call every other month with Manager-on-Duty weekend rotation

We are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community committed to providing a safe, well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Director with strong Life Safety inspection experience to lead our Environmental Services department.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility maintenance, life safety compliance, HVAC systems, and environmental services. This role ensures the building remains safe, sanitary, attractive, and in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and building codes
. The position also oversees laundry services and supervises Environmental Services staff.

Life Safety Inspection Experience Is Required.

• Supervise Environmental Services staff and oversee daily maintenance operations
• Ensure compliance with Life Safety, HVAC, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct and document preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, supplies, and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, ventilation, heating/cooling systems)
• Ensure the facility is free from hazards and safety risks
• Collaborate with nursing, leadership, residents, and other departments to resolve service requests
• Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment in proper working order
• Report serious mechanical issues to the Administrator
• Oversee quality laundry services and related operations

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or a commercial setting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of life safety inspections and compliance
• HVAC Certification (required)
• Life Safety Certification (required)
• Experience with TELS (preferred)
