Day Porter Maryland Heights Full Time Cleaning. Position is from 10am-6:30pm Monday-Friday. Starts immediately near 270 and page.

Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able and enjoy the following tasks:

• vacuuming
• sweeping
• mopping
• cleaning bathrooms
• emptying trash

This position is responsible for maintaining clean and healthy environments for our customers’ buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned:

• Remove debris, maintain common space areas, restock bathrooms, and respond to cleaning emergencies
• Perform cleaning duties for facilities using provided products, tools, and procedures
• Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving furniture and equipment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required
• Clean all common space areas including kitchen, cafeteria, lobby and break room
• Place safety hazard signs in the building, including “wet floor” signs as necessary
• Monitor, clean, service and restock bathrooms
• Respond immediately to any major spills or other cleaning crises
• Remove litter and debris from common space areas
• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
• On-the-job training provided for those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Experience with a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus
• Ability to be flexible, work in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and be dependable and on time
• Respect and professionalism toward co-workers and customers
• Must be able to communicate in English

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward; ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
