As a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at our local retail store, you will execute routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, or fixtures. You will operate under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conduct inspections, cleaning, and repair facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, or related trades) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
- Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.

Full-time - Compensation:
Salary range $45,760 – $83,200; sign-on bonus available for select locations; additional bonus disclosed during interview.
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
- Can move up and down ladders frequently
- Comfortable working at heights frequently
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Able to work in various temperatures
- Must maintain an excellent driving record
- Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
