Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer – Element:
St. Louis, MO

Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee our maintenance department at the element hotel located in St. Louis, MO. This person will oversee all aspects of the hotel maintenance department including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and preventive maintenance program.

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose problems or repair machines.
• Repairs and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
• Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms to ensure they are being kept up to standards on a quarterly basis and the proper documentation is being recorded.
• Respond to maintenance requests received from Front Desk or Housekeeping within 15 minutes (occupied rooms).
• Pool chemical testing.

• At least 2 years of facilities experience.
• Experience in a management position.
