Part‑Time Porter
As a Part‑Time Porter
, you’ll keep our 112‑unit community clean, welcoming and safe. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll ensure the building’s common areas remain immaculate, contributing to a safe and inviting environment for all residents and visitors.
- Complete requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
- Clean and maintain all common areas, including front lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and parking areas.
- Maintain floors, vacuum carpets and rugs, wash and wax hard surfaces, and clean tile grout.
- Wash walls, doors, and windows in shared areas.
- Replace light bulbs in common area lighting fixtures as needed.
- Ensure all trash receptacles are emptied and waste is transported to the designated disposal area.
- Monitor and restock sanitary and cleaning supplies to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Assist with light maintenance duties such as replacing air filters, minor touch‑ups, and basic repairs.
- Support seasonal upkeep tasks, including snow removal and grounds maintenance.
- Assist in inventory control of janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the community with a positive and courteous attitude.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- $17.00 – $19.00 /hr.
- Annual Performance Bonus
- This position is Non‑Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay
This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

- 1–2 years of janitorial, cleaning, or porter experience in residential or commercial settings.
- Basic knowledge of light maintenance tasks is a plus.
- Must be able to work 25 hours per week Monday‑Friday.
- Snow removal and landscaping experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working with and around cleaning agents and equipment.
- Extensive knowledge in maintaining, cleaning and waxing vinyl floors is a plus.
- Ability to complete daily assignments with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation required.

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
