Brief Description
The Contents Technician is an integral part of the Blu Sky Team skilled in the completion of complex contents cleaning tasks. Responsible for duties that relate to the cleaning of both residential and commercial contents.
Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesField Duties
- Proficient in all restoration facets including:
- Pack outs
- On location cleaning
- Content processing/deodorization
- Cleaning of upholstery and carpets
- Content storage/handling
- Water mitigation
- Microbial remediation
- Structural board‑up and security
- Proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel
- Photo document overall condition of content prior to onsite packing
- Complete all necessary paperwork including emergency mitigation spec sheets, daily project summaries, moisture tracking logs, diagrams, work authorizations, and inventories
- Manage/maintain content cleaning area and storage areas to highest level professional standards
- Representation on Blu Sky emergency mitigation on call management rotation
- Provide the highest level of customer service
- Adheres to all company Best Practices
- All other duties or projects as assigned
This role has no direct reports.
Qualifications- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Computer skills (computer and handheld mobile devices)
- Work well with a team of subcontractors/employees
- Self‑starter, great organizational and planning
High School Graduate or equivalent
