Overview
Seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in insurance law who is looking to step into a role with meaningful responsibility, sophisticated work, and long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret insurance policies, including CGL, professional liability, property, and specialty lines.
- Draft coverage opinions, position letters, and related documentation.
- Represent insurers in coverage and bad-faith litigation.
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and recommendations.
- Support partners and independently manage assigned matters.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Minimum 5 years of insurance coverage experience (coverage litigation and/or analysis).
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters with strong attention to detail.
- Missouri bar license required (Illinois license also preferred).
