Corporate / Transactional Litigation Attorney – St. Louis, MO | Full-Time | Hybrid
A St. Louis-based law firm is seeking a Corporate/Transactional Litigation Attorney to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys a mix of litigation and deal-related work across sophisticated matters, with a lower billable-hour target and a strong bonus structure tied to performance.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Lexis Nexis and Westlaw
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and transactional materials
- Manage matters spanning real estate, banking, corporate, M&A, or Estate Planning
- Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions to achieve client objectives
- Review and analyze documents and evidence to prepare for litigation and transactional proceedings
- Maintain organized files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and internal procedures
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies
- Stay current on relevant laws and regulations impacting multiple practice areas
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Prior experience in litigation and/or transactional law strongly preferred
- Experience across real estate, banking, corporate, M&A, or estate planning is a plus
- Strong writing, drafting, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Partial book of business ($200+)
- Low billable-hour target
- Great bonus structure with meaningful upside potential
- 15% origination on all clients brought to the firm
