Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant Paralegal located in St. Louis, MO. The Legal Assistant Paralegal will perform a range of legal administrative tasks, including drafting legal documents, managing client files, conducting legal research, and coordinating with attorneys on case preparation. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, managing deadlines, filing court documents, and assisting in case management, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations that support the legal team in delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with legal research and familiarity with court filing procedures and legal terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with clients and legal professionals
  • Proficiency in using legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems
  • Strong work ethic, ethical judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Preferred:
    Certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies, or comparable legal work experience
  • Knowledge of areas of law such as family law, personal injury, estate planning, or criminal defense is a plus
