A client of TGC search is looking for a Commercial Asbestos Litigation Associate – St. Louis, MO (Remote Flexibility)

A nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking a Litigation Associate (4–12 years) to join its St. Louis office with a focus on asbestos defense, toxic tort, and commercial litigation. This is a great opportunity to work on complex, high stakes matters with flexibility and growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
• Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, and client correspondence
• Participate in strategy development, trial preparation, and hearings
• Manage assigned case load and communicate directly with clients
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members across offices

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Missouri (Illinois a plus)
• 4–8 years of litigation experience (asbestos, toxic tort, insurance defense, or product liability preferred)
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines across multiple matters
• Trial exposure or strong courtroom experience is a plus
• Remote flexibility; MUST reside in Missouri or nearby Illinois for court needs
• Billable Target: 1,950 hours
