Working actively with executive and senior leadership teams, our Legal Department assists in achieving the company’s goals by not only partnering with the business but also managing corporate liability and compliance. Role Description

As Associate Coverage Counsel, you will deliver strategic legal guidance to our growing Claims organization under the direction of the Vice President & Assistant General Counsel. You will apply your sharp analytical skills and sound judgment to provide actionable advice on complex coverage issues across a broad spectrum of insurance products, including commercial general liability, public entity, commercial auto, and workers’ compensation.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal claims and underwriting partners and outside counsel, and draft clear and well-reasoned coverage analyses. Qualifications Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school is required. Must be currently licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 or more years of insurance coverage experience required, 5 or more years preferred.
  • Experience with commercial general liability, public entity, commercial auto, and workers’ compensation insurance products.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Westlaw.
  • Ability to work independently on high-volume caseloads and manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
