Overview
Energy, Environmental & Infrastructure Associate (3-7 Years Experience) – U.S. | Full-Time | Confidential Search
A top-tier, nationally recognized law firm is seeking a highly motivated associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its Energy, Environmental, and Infrastructure practice in one of its U.S. offices.
Ideal Experience Includes
- Managing complex energy and natural resources transactional matters in a sophisticated law firm environment, including M&A, project development, and commercial agreements
- 3+ years Renewable energy transactional experience, such as:
- M&A and joint ventures
- Build-transfer agreements
- Commercial agreements (PPAs, O&M agreements, shared facilities agreements)
- Procurement contracts for equipment and materials
- Energy project development experience a must
- Experience with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts is a plus, but not required
- Experience with energy and natural resources financing transactions is a plus, but not required
- Oil and gas experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of responsibility
- Candidates should be prepared to submit a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript
