Full-Time Attorney - Litigator (Business Lit, Complex Commercial Lit, RE Lit, Gen Civil Lit, AND/OR Estate Lit)

About the Role
Our firm is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney with 4-8 years of experience to join our dynamic Litigation Department in St. Louis. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation experience, excellent judgment, and a commitment to providing outstanding client service. This is an opportunity to work with a respected team on complex, diverse matters while taking on meaningful responsibility from day one.
Key Practice Areas
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Business Litigation
- Complex Commercial Litigation
- Real Estate Litigation
- General Civil Litigation
- Trusts & Estates Litigation
- Handle all phases of litigation matters, including research, drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Independently manage multiple cases and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Provide practical, strategic, and solution-oriented counseling to clients.
- Analyze complex legal and business issues and develop effective case strategies.
- Draft high-quality legal documents, including briefs, motions, memoranda, and correspondence.
- Work collaboratively with partners, associates, paralegals, and staff on litigation matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal teams.
- Maintain high professional standards, sound judgment, and integrity in client representation.
- J.D. from an accredited law school with 4-8 years of litigation experience.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Experience managing litigation matters independently.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to responsibility, client service, and professional excellence.
- Active bar license in Missouri (Illinois bar admission is a plus).
