Energy, Environmental & Infrastructure Associate (3–7 Years Experience) – Full-Time – Permanent
Responsibilities- Manage complex energy and natural resources transactional matters in a sophisticated law firm environment, including M&A, project development, and commercial agreements
- Lead renewable energy transactional work, such as M&A and joint ventures
- Prepare and negotiate build-transfer agreements
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements (PPAs, O&M agreements, shared facilities agreements)
- Negotiate procurement contracts for equipment and materials
- Experience with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts is a plus, but not required
- Experience with energy and natural resources financing transactions is a plus, but not required
- Oil and gas experience is beneficial but not required
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, excellent work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of responsibility
- 3–7 years of experience in energy, environmental & infrastructure matters in a law firm setting
- Experience managing complex transactional matters and multidisciplinary teams is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism
