Overview

Help us take our business to the next level as a multifaceted commercial insurance agent with a proven track record of maintaining and growing customer portfolios. In this role, you’ll apply your sales skills to foster strong relationships with corporate clients and other enterprises, delivering results that can yield generous rewards over time. The ideal candidate is professional, analytical, and a strong communicator, ready to take a personal approach to commercial insurance sales by gathering all details necessary to inform sound policy decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Clearly explain all insurance coverage to clients and stay up-to-date with insurance industry changes, including limits, regulations, and relevant legislation that may impact available insurance services.
  • Support customers’ management teams by coaching them on commercial insurance policies as part of a commitment to personal attention for existing and prospective clients.
  • Maintain a solid book of business for existing clients and grow the new business base through a range of networking and sales tactics, including cold calling and prospecting for potential customers to effectively articulate the company’s competitive advantage and new products.
  • Develop and present risk management assessments to advise clients on ways to minimize and avoid claims.
  • Collaborate with managers and key stakeholders to determine commercial insurance needs against available insurance products and negotiation terms and conditions.
Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of available insurance policies and coverage offerings, including their limits and value propositions.
  • Ability to advise clients on relevant policies due to a thorough understanding of commercial enterprise structures and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, mathematics, statistics, or other relevant disciplines; a high school diploma is acceptable in some cases depending on experience.
  • Stellar research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
Compensation

$45,000-$75,000 per year
