• Present existing and prospective customers with individualized policy options, quote calculations, and educational materials to meet their needs
• Facilitate sales by keeping accurate records of personal information of prospects and customers within insurance company databases
• Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling
• Deliver a high level of customer service when resolving billing, policy change, coverage, and claims issues
• Review insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits in order to recommend modifications, as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent insurance industry experience and a high school diploma are required
• Effective collaborator with a goal-oriented approach to achieving sales success
• Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; agency management system experience preferred
• Must hold a valid, state-issued insurance license(s):
Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License
• Deep knowledge of available insurance policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their limits and value propositions Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 at plan earnings
