We’re looking for a specialist to work closely with the M&A Lead to support our new client onboarding process.
Oberle Risk Strategies is adding an M&A Specialist to our team in St. Louis. The M&A Specialist will work closely with the M&A Lead to support our new client onboarding process. This process includes performing property and casualty insurance due diligence on middle-market M&A transactions and effectively managing the logistics and open items around placing insurance coverage, in a compressed timeframe.
The position is ideal for the individual that enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Oberle has experienced significant growth since our inception in 2019. The role presents an opportunity to join our firm at an exciting time, while still in our early stages. We’re aiming for a candidate interested in mastering the ins and outs of the M&A process, who would enjoy detailed analytical work, and would be energized by working closely with our client base, which is comprised of talented entrepreneurs and private equity professionals across the US.
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience and will include an attractive base salary and annual bonus opportunity.
This is a hybrid work position in Laude, MO.
Roles and Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to M&A Leads during commercial insurance due diligence and new client onboarding. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately creating new account records in EPIC (Oberle’s agency management system)
- Collecting and organizing insurance documents in EPIC
- Consistently generate accurate ACORD applications in EPIC
- Populate detailed policy summaries in excel
- Providing administrative support during Oberle’s carrier marketing process – including attaching correspondence from M&A Lead.
- Assist in preparing new client proposals
- Oversee process to “wrap-up” new accounts – which includes issuance of certificates of insurance, auto , policy checking, and confirming all workflows have been completed accurately.
- Actively participate in weekly new business meetings and provide input on process improvement
- Work as a part of a team to deliver best possible client experience during new client onboarding phase
- University or college degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Ability to follow execute consistently on a detailed workflow
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
- Exceptional written and oral presentation skills
- Strong EQ, interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to key clients.
- Strong organizational skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple business objectives and projects with the proper sense of urgency.
- Demonstratable experience of going above and beyond client expectations.
