Lead Systems Platform Architect

Scope

• Infrastructure design and automation. Storage, compute, and virtualization technologies
• Networking

• Deep experience in infrastructure design and automation within large-scale enterprise environments, including IaC and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar).
• Strong background designing infrastructure across compute, storage, virtualization, container, and platform services, with a focus on automation enablement.
• Proven ability to translate program and product requirements into clear, deployable infrastructure designs and standards.
• Experience collaborating across product, platform, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Strong documentation, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience working within highly regulated or security-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid architecture
• Intermediate knowledge on networking and security fundamentals, including segmentation, routing and access control integration
• Intermediate knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls
• Foundational knowledge of cloud technologies
• Advanced knowledge of techniques or methodologies to achieve non-functional requirements like reliability, availability, resilience, performance, security.
• Expert collaboration and communications skills to work across platform, application, and security engineering teams

• Serve as the lead infrastructure design authority for assigned programs, partnering with product and engineering teams to document, design, and validate infrastructure required to support their products and deployments.
• Produce and own infrastructure technical designs (e.g., TADs, deployment models, dependency mappings), ensuring designs enable reliable, repeatable, and secure deployments across environments. Collaborate with security, network, and platform architecture teams to ensure designs are secure-by-design, compliant, and aligned to enterprise and Zero Trust standards.
• Act as a technical mentor and design reviewer, providing guidance, feedback, and quality oversight across infrastructure designs.
