Job Description:
Business Systems Analyst IIIThe Business Systems Analyst III (BSA) is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating information technology systems and business operations. This role serves as the primary liaison between business users and engineering/development teams, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into clear, actionable technical requirements. The BSA supports system improvements, issue tracking, and delivery of solutions that align with business objectives.
Compensation: $50-55/hr
Location: St Louis MO (4 days per week onsite, 1 day remote)

Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and evaluate existing information technology systems and operations
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify user needs, requirements, and process gaps
- Translate business requirements into formal technical requirement deliverables (e.g., functional requirements, system requirements)
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and engineering/development teams
- Identify, document, report, and track system issues through resolution
- Support solution design by recommending system improvements and process enhancements
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder reviews
- Ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented as intended
- Assist with validation and verification activities to confirm solutions meet business needs
- 5–10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role
- Proven experience analyzing IT systems and business processes
- Strong ability to gather, document, and communicate business and technical requirements
- Experience working directly with engineering or development teams
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience with issue tracking and requirements documentation tools
- Familiarity with SDLC and system implementation methodologies
- Experience supporting system enhancements or operational improvements
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross‑functionally
