Our client is seeking an experienced System Configuration Analyst to support the build and configuration of new small‑business credit card products for major commercial partners. This role is highly hands‑on and involves configuring card logic, payment rules, rewards structures, and product attributes across multiple internal systems. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in credit card issuing, payment configuration, and Agile delivery, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Configure credit card product attributes, payment rules, and rewards logic based on Excel-based build sheets and established internal guidelines.
- Support the setup of co‑branded commercial credit card products integrated into online marketplace systems.
- Perform system configuration within Integrated Card Systems (ICS)/Mainframe (AS400/green‑screen), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Team Site CMS.
- Review, process, and validate configuration requests; ensure accuracy through manual testing and audit checks.
- Track and manage configuration requests in accordance with SLA requirements; escalate when appropriate to PO, Scrum Master, or SMEs.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and partner teams to ensure consistent delivery of configuration work.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies; manage configuration tasks using Jira.
- Support BAU and new project development across front‑end acquisition platforms, including regulatory‑driven updates.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all internal audit standards.
- Shadow team members during onboarding and assist with cross‑training on configuration variable requests.
- 5+ years of experience in system configuration, product configuration, or credit card operations.
- Strong background in Credit Card Issuing and Payment Configuration (billing rules, posting logic, rewards, fees, parameters).
- Hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
. - Ability to work comfortably in configuration‑heavy platforms (ICS/mainframe/AS400).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
; familiarity with VBA is a plus. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to pivot quickly and manage changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort asking clarifying questions.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
- Experience with Content Management Systems

. - Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Background in banking, credit card industry, or financial services (FIS, Fiserv, major banks).
- Knowledge of Office 365 tools:
MS Teams, Share Point , etc. - Experience working in legacy/green‑screen environments (Mainframe, AS400, PCS).
- Bachelor’s degree (not required).
- Self‑starter with strong initiative and curiosity.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Highly detail‑oriented and accountable for accuracy in every step of the configuration process.
- Thrives in collaborative teams and communicates effectively across roles and levels.
