We have a 6 - 12 month contract to hire for a CJA Implementation Specialist.
CJA Implementation Analyst (Adobe Customer Journey Analytics)
Contract to Hire | 100% Remote
We are seeking a senior-level CJA Implementation Analyst with deep expertise in Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Analytics, and digital behavioral tracking implementation. This role focuses on designing and implementing measurement frameworks, data collection strategies, and behavioral tracking across web and mobile experiences to enable product teams to make data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of digital analytics experience, strong knowledge of Adobe analytics data architecture and implementation, and the ability to translate business questions into structured tracking requirements, dashboards, and actionable insights. This individual will collaborate closely with Product, UX, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure analytics instrumentation is implemented correctly and aligned with business objectives.
This role plays a key part in helping teams measure product performance, feature adoption, and user behavior across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
CJA Implementation & Measurement Strategy
- Design and implement Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) measurement frameworks to support digital product initiatives.
- Translate business questions into analytics implementation requirements, technical specifications, and measurement plans.
- Define tracking strategies for web and mobile applications, including events, dimensions, metrics, and customer journey data structures.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure proper instrumentation, tagging, and data layer implementation.
- Develop and maintain behavioral usage tracking frameworks that measure user engagement and product performance.
- Ensure analytics implementations align with Adobe Experience Platform data structures and Customer Journey datasets.
- Validate and QA data collection to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with platform teams to optimize data pipelines and analytics architecture.
- Create CJA dashboards and reporting frameworks that measure progress toward product OKRs.
- Transform behavioral analytics data into clear, compelling insights and executive-ready storytelling.
- Provide recommendations to Product and UX teams based on behavioral analytics findings.
- Work closely with Product Managers, UX designers, Marketing teams, and engineers to ensure analytics requirements are embedded in new feature development.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including standups, design reviews, and sprint planning.
- Facilitate analytics requirements sessions to ensure consistent tracking standards across teams.
- 10+ years of experience in behavioral or digital analytics
- Expert-level experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
- 5+ years of mobile application analytics experience
- Strong understanding of digital analytics implementation and instrumentation requirements
- Experience designing custom CJA projects and datasets
- Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling
- Ability to interpret complex behavioral datasets and translate them into business insights
- Strong collaboration and communication skills working with product, UX, and engineering teams
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
- Familiarity with UX design principles
- Experience creating wireframes or mockups in Miro or Figma
