You Are:The Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of quality processes across IT projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards and drive operational excellence throughout the Project. Activities include, but are not limited to, implementing processes, driving continuous improvement in processes and quality, and aligning to quality frameworks. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management principles, IT project delivery, and process improvement methodologies.
This person will act as the primary point of contact for all quality‑related matters and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Define and establish quality assurance standards, processes, and templates to be utilized throughout IT projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to design, document, and implement robust processes for IT project delivery.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established quality standards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead initiatives to optimize and streamline processes while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and reports to track project performance against key indicators.
- Provide training to project teams on quality standards, processes, and tools.
- Ensure that quality risks are documented, monitored, and addressed effectively.
- Implement, leverage and manage tools to support quality assurance and process improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in quality assurance, process improvement, or a similar role within IT projects
- Knowledge of quality frameworks such as CMMI and process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma
- Experience in creating and implementing templates, processes, and quality standards
- Familiarity with IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to drive data‑driven decisions
- US Citizenship required
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- This is an on‑site position based in St. Louis, MO. Candidates must be willing to relocate to St. Louis.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
