US- IT Data Engineer

The IT Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives. This role collaborates with business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure reliable data integration, quality, governance, and accessibility across platforms.

The IT Data Engineer works on complex data environments, enabling advanced analytics and operational insights while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load structured and unstructured data.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance through monitoring and validation processes.
• Optimize performance of large-scale data processing systems.
• Support cloud-based data solutions and hybrid architectures.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Document data architecture, workflows, and technical standards.
• Participate in Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related IT roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Java).
• Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling).
• Experience with data governance and metadata management tools.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting global or highly regulated enterprise environments.
