Position Overview
The Mobile / Remote Service Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of our Mobile Service operation. This individual will manage daily mobile service activities, coordinate repairs from scheduling through completion, support technicians in the field, and ensure an outstanding customer experience at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities- Mobile Service Operations
- Manage the full RO lifecycle including creation, updates, closeout, and payment processing
- Serve as the Mobile Service Technician, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient workflow
- Determine if requested repairs fall within Mobile Service scope
- Parts Coordination
- Partner with the Parts Department to ensure parts availability prior to appointments
- Identify and coordinate additional parts sales opportunities
- Ensure Mobile Service Units are properly stocked for scheduled repairs
- Track unused parts and ensure proper return to inventory
- Scheduling & Route Optimization
- Coordinate with Service Schedule to schedule appointments efficiently
- Handle inbound Mobile Service requests and confirm appointment details
- Utilize route optimization tools to maximize technician productivity and minimize travel time
- Dispatch & Field Support
- Dispatch appropriate Mobile Service Units and technicians based on repair type and location
- Provide real-time support to technicians during appointments
- Customer Experience
- Confirm appointments and communicate day-of service updates
- Maintain proactive communication before, during, and after repairs
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Business Development & Marketing
- Partner with Fleet teams to develop and grow Mobile Service fleet opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing to promote Mobile Service awareness and drive demand
- Experience as a Service Advisor or in dealership service operations preferred
- Strong understanding of dealership workflow and repair order processes
- Customer-focused with strong business acumen
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to problem-solve, manage conflict, and make confident decisions
