Lead Technical Manager – Java & Microservices

About the role

This role leads the delivery and coordination of technology initiatives within the Provider domain, combining strong technical expertise in Java, Microservices, Windsurf, and Git Hub Copilot with hands‑on project management. You will drive innovation, streamline workflows, and ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with organizational goals. The position requires a blend of technical depth, cross‑functional collaboration, and disciplined project leadership.

• Utilize Java and Microservices expertise to enhance project outcomes and support innovation.
• Implement Windsurf solutions to improve workflow efficiency and streamline delivery.
• Leverage Git Hub Copilot and Microsoft Git Hub Copilot to optimize code quality and accelerate development.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines to meet key milestones.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Facilitate regular project meetings to track progress and resolve issues or roadblocks.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date project documentation for stakeholder visibility.
• Manage project budgets and resources to maximize return on investment.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status and performance indicators.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages idea‑sharing and problem‑solving.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices within the Provider domain.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.

The annual salary for this position is between $65,447 to $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
