We are currently looking for a SAP Non-SAP Industry Consultant

Program Type: Post-Merger Finance Stabilization (SAP ECC)

Work Model: Onsite / Onshore with 50–100% travel | US Central Time hours

Role Summary

The Non-SAP Industry Consultant will execute stabilization activities for external trading, commodity, and operational systems integrated with SAP ECC within a multi-entity, multi-instance landscape following a merger. The role is accountable for protecting data integrity, interface stability, and transaction continuity between non-SAP industry systems and SAP during company code consolidation.

This is a senior, hands-on execution role requiring direct participation in mock conversions, cutover execution, and post-conversion validation of integrated processes.

This is not AMS support and not a greenfield implementation.

• Identify and validate non-SAP industry systems integrated with SAP GTM, SD, MM, and FI
• Ensure continuity of inbound and outbound interfaces impacting contracts, logistics, settlements, and financial postings
• Validate transactional and master data synchronization between SAP and external trading or operational platforms
• Identify and resolve interface discrepancies impacting exposure reporting, settlement accuracy, and inventory balances
• Support reconciliation of data between SAP and external systems during mock conversions
• Coordinate with Integration, ABAP, and Finance teams to triage cross-system defects
• Lead validation checkpoints for non-SAP interfaces during conversion cycles and cutover execution
• Support post-cutover stabilization of integrated trading and operational processes

• 10–15 years of experience supporting enterprise industry systems integrated with SAP ECC
• Direct hands-on participation in 2+ legal entity consolidations, carve-ins/outs, or post-merger ERP integrations
• Demonstrated experience stabilizing non-SAP systems integrated with SAP in multi-instance or multi-template landscapes
• Strong understanding of commodity trading, logistics, or operational systems integrated with SAP GTM or SD/MM
• Experience validating interface data integrity across middleware platforms such as PI/PO or comparable integration layers
• Experience supporting reconciliation of transactional and financial data across systems during integration efforts
• Participation in mock conversion cycles and cutover weekends in live production environments
• Experience operating in imperfect data conditions requiring pragmatic resolution

• Understands cross-system risk in commodity and logistics-driven environments
• Quickly identifies interface failures impacting trading, inventory, or financial reporting
• Protects transaction continuity across integrated platforms
• Communicates effectively with Integration, Commercial, Operations, and Finance stakeholders
• Maintains high accountability during conversion and post-cutover stabilization
