• Backend Engineering (Java/Spring Boot):
  Design and develop Spring Boot MVC/REST services and Graph
  
  QL APIs supporting our React applications
• Payments & Core Integrations:
  Own end-to-end integrations with Braintree/Pay Pal, Venmo, Klarna, and additional payment services
• Solution Integrations:
  Build and support integrations both internally and with external vendors using FTP, REST/Graph
  
  QL APIs, Message queues
• Platform Reliability, Observability & Performance:
  Define and standardize APM instrumentation, structured logging, distributed tracing, and alerting
• Open Shift, Containers & Deployment:
  Operate and optimize services running on the Open Shift Container Platform, in addition to owning and maintaining Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and container deployment standards
• Security & Certificate Management:
  Manage TLS certificates for internal and external service communication, and oversee certificate rotation, renewal, and debugging of secure communication failures
• Collaborate Internally:
  Partner with product, Dev Ops, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions

• 8+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot (MVC, REST), including production systems at scale
• Hands-on experience with payment integrations
• Strong knowledge of resilient integration patterns (timeouts, retries, pooling, circuit breakers)
• Experience with FTP workflows, message queue systems (Kafka/Rabbit
  
  MQ), and API-based integrations
• Proficiency with Open Shift/Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
• Experience managing TLS certificates and secure service communication
• Strong system observability and troubleshooting capabilities
