Cloud Software Engineer

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Cloud Software Engineer.

You will analyze, design, code, and test software projects using various programming languages and development methodologies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing application components and software tools, ensuring that system improvements are monitored for high availability and efficiency. Additionally, you will work in an agile environment, engaging in practices like pair programming and test-driven development to translate business requirements into API-led connectivity solutions.

• Implement and test moderately complex code changes to fix identified defects in existing software products.
• Troubleshoot bugs within code components and perform actions as designated in remediation plans.
• Strengthen and configure components for both on-premise and cloud-based solutions/environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into integration solutions, including interfaces, proxies, and shared code libraries.
• Assist in solving software/systems monitoring issues and escalations requiring technical expertise.
• Complete technical documentation for testing, QA, training, and installation procedures.
• Support the development of technology integration and enablement plans while understanding organizational objectives.

• Most Critical Skill:
  Expert-level proficiency in source control (GIT/Bitbucket), secure coding, and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math (or 6-9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
• 2-3+ years of relevant experience with cloud tools and providers (AWS, MS Azure, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Splunk, or Docker).
• Strong understanding of the SDLC, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration principles.
• Knowledge of advanced networking principles and software dependency monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.

• AWS Certification is highly preferred.
• Expertise in automated testing practices.
• Knowledge of dashboarding and data visualization tools.
• Ability to translate complex technologies into "Executive speak" for stakeholders.
• Passion for discussing and teaching technology topics to others.

$43.18 - $61.68 /hr.
