Job Title: SAP APO / IBP / SCM Consultant

Location(s): St. Louis, MO (Remote)

Role Overview

The SAP APO / IBP / SCM Consultant will be responsible for application maintenance, production support, and enhancement activities across SAP APO and IBP landscapes, including integrations with SAP ECC, SAP HANA Cloud, Kinaxis, Salesforce, Teradata, and flat-file interfaces. This role supports global supply chain planning operations with a strong focus on LATAM business processes and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) for SAP APO and IBP, ensuring system stability and SLA adherence.
  • Support and enhance SAP APO modules:
    • Demand Planning (DP)
    • Supply Network Planning (SNP)
    • Global Available-to-Promise (GATP)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to:
    • System design and configuration
    • Master and transactional data
    • WRICEF objects
    • Integrated system/process/user issues
  • Lead and support IBP Control Tower implementation and enhancements.
  • Manage integrations between:
    • SAP APO / IBP and SAP ECC
    • SAP IBP and Kinaxis
    • Salesforce, Teradata, and flat-file sources
  • Read, analyze, and debug ABAP code to support issue resolution.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain business users to analyze complex planning problems and translate them into SAP-enabled solutions.
  • Develop functional specifications and support testing, documentation, and end‑user training.
  • Support the Global Planning Organization, including Kinaxis‑SAP integrations.
  • Coordinate daily operations with onsite and offshore teams, prioritizing workloads effectively.
  • Manage service management queues including:
    • Incidents
    • Problems
    • Service requests
    • Enhancements
  • Track SLAs, backlogs, and deliverables; prepare daily and weekly operational status reports.
  • Ensure quality and compliance across:
    • Incident closures
    • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
    • Change management processes
  • Provide on‑call/off‑hours support for critical or high‑priority production issues as required.
  • Act as a client liaison to investigate, analyze, and resolve software issues and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with all client and organizational standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP APO configuration and implementation, including DP, SNP, and GATP.
  • Proven experience implementing SAP IBP, including Control Tower concepts.
  • Strong experience with SAP HANA Cloud Platform.
  • Hands‑on experience integrating:
    • SAP IBP with Kinaxis
    • SAP systems with Salesforce, Teradata, and flat‑file interfaces
  • Strong functional and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Experience working in AMS / support environments with strict SLA commitments.
  • Prior experience supporting LATAM projects and business users.
  • Fluency in Spanish (spoken and professional communication).
  • Willingness and ability to work LATAM time zone hours.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong stakeholder communication and client‑facing experience.
  • Experience in global, multi‑region SAP support environments.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and service governance skills.
