The Role Overall Assignment
Description:
Expert Systems Integrators support the Government by ensuring the technical integrity and cohesion of the NSG/ASG systems-of-systems enterprise. They lead and oversee the planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and sustainment of end-to-end cloud services, systems, and subsystems using established processes and tools. These integrators provide comprehensive support across the entire system development life cycle and deliver subject-matter expertise to accelerate the adoption, integration, and exposure of new source or supplier products and services.
They also develop trade-space options that enhance efficiency in planning, programming, budgeting, and execution activities.
Duties include:
* Provide expert guidance to the Government on aligning vision, strategy, plans, needs, requirements, and capability and process development.
* Lead solution assessments, scheduling analyses, and integration activities across IPO product lines and supporting services to enable mission objectives.
* Capture and translate mission and customer requirements into actionable products and capabilities; collaborate with Product Managers on backlog grooming, roadmap development, and capability prioritization.
* Conduct comprehensive planning; capture, analyze, and trace user requirements; ensure architectural traceability; and identify opportunities to automate or enhance existing systems. Review cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints to improve user workflows and mission efficiency.
* Provide subject-matter expertise to interpret, refine, and implement customer data requirements.
* Influence and collaborate effectively with IPOs, the Chief Data Officer (CDO), and other CIOT capability providers to achieve Content Conveyance objectives.
* Support Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and engineering assessments.
* Assist the Government with strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.
* Demonstrate strong teamwork, initiative, and adaptability within a complex, multifaceted development environment.
* Work independently or as a team lead under tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
* Operate effectively within a multi-contractor and government environment.
* Maintain and manage Agile schedules using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management systems.

Skills and Experience:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
* 18 years of work experience as a Systems Integrator may be substituted in lieu of degree.
* 18 years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including:
DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, NGA Production and Dissemination, IC TCPED.
* 18 years of working experience in system integration or system engineering experience in government or industry.
* TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
Desired:
* Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
* Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
* Documented work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
* Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
