Senior Business Systems Analyst – Edward Jones
Location: Hybrid role with optional home‑based status; on‑site work 3 days per week at Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO offices.
Job OverviewFull‑time Senior Business Systems Analyst position at Edward Jones. The role supports development and testing teams through requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and testing collaboration, ensuring solutions meet client needs and comply with legal and privacy constraints.

Primary Responsibilities- Lead strategic initiatives to align client expectations, user needs, and product capabilities.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to clarify requirements during defect resolution, prepare test scenarios, facilitate UAT, and plan and execute UAT.
- Proactively identify, document, and prioritize complex issues impacting project delivery and business processes and recommend long‑term improvements.
- Use advanced data analytics to drive insights and support strategic decision‑making.
- Document requirements in a clear, concise format, collaborating with stakeholders across departments, and mentor junior analysts.
- Act as a support resource for development teams by clarifying requirements and ensuring documentation is up‑to‑date; serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Help prepare user guides, training materials, or reference documents, collaborating with project managers and technical teams to finalize deployment plans and oversee deployments.
- Mentor and coach junior and entry‑level BSA’s, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 6 years experience with workflow‑management tools and advanced requirement‑gathering techniques.
- Expertise in business analysis methodologies, strategic planning, and enterprise analysis.
- Experience with Agile or Product Management concepts (user story writing, backlog refinement, Agile events).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools for system prototypes and scenario modeling.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with data extraction and BI tools (SQL, Oracle Reporting Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
Base pay range: $86,300 – $146,700 per year. Hiring minimum: $86,300; hiring maximum: $146,700.
