JOB DESCRIPTION
The Specialized U.S. Infrastructure Operations (SUSIO) organization is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Analyst to support Azure automation, testing, documentation, and cost optimization. This position plays a key role in bridging business and technical teams, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with cloud governance standards. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process flows, requirements, functional specifications, and user guides.
Gather, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements related to Azure infrastructure, service management, and cost optimization.
Design and document workflows to improve cloud operations, price tracking, and service delivery.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated testing scripts.
Identify and implement process improvements in cloud operations and governance.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
Support evaluation and integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools and platforms.
Provide training and knowledge transfer on cloud processes, documentation standards, and testing practices.
Enforce policies related to security, compliance, and cost management.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience analyzing and documenting systems, applications and processes
5+ years of experience developing and documenting application requirements from complex user flows and processes
5+ years of experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases
3+ years of experience with Agile software development lifecycle
CompTIA Security+

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work/military experience.
Current Azure cloud certifications.

Experience with Confluence, Jira, and test automation frameworks.

Experience with COTS solution analysis and quality control in documentation.
