- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and intuitive digital tools that streamline proposals and onboarding workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless advisor experiences that integrate retirement, brokerage, education, and other account types into a unified proposal.
- Leverage modern technologies and cloud‑native architectures to build resilient, high‑performance services that support Edward Jones' growing SMA/UMA and fee‑based planning initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops automation.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or related work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. Understands infrastructure architecture – networks, productivity tools, operating systems – and provides input to leaders about the impact of these components.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues and their implications for projects and business decisions, facilitate discussion and resolution of problems, and mentor other Information Systems associates.
- Expert level in at least one of the following:
Web Application Development, Client Application Development, Mainframe Online and/or Batch Development, Enterprise or solution‑specific purchased software.
