The N2W TSCM Support (Level III) role provides technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM), foreign visit support, gift inspections, digital counter exploitation, technical evaluations, and other specialized technical operations supporting the NGA TSCM program, TSSC modernization goals, and the Office of Counterintelligence Technical CI Division. This position directly supports the design, construction, and accreditation of NGA's new facility project in North St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities- Conduct TSCM operations in support of NGA's N2W facility project.
- Provide recommendations, guidance, and technical advice related to the N2W construction project.
- Prepare specialized technical risk assessments, TSCM reports of inquiry, tailored briefings, and administrative communications.
- Assist the Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) with technical security plans, policy development, and execution.
- Analyze complex physical and technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with ICD 705, physical security standards for SCIFs, and DoD standards for collateral areas.
- Conduct RF signal of interest searches and assessments.
- Prepare after-action reports for external engagements, exercises, and demonstrations within required time frames.
- Support training initiatives including the TSSC Technician OJT program.
- 6–8 years of relevant TSCM or counterintelligence technical support experience
- Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification.
- Completion of at least 40 hours of discipline-specific training annually (classroom, online, or commercially available).
- Compliance with DoDD 8140.01 requirements for DoD networks by obtaining and maintaining DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification within one year of assignment.
- Experience writing and editing technical documentation.
- Telephone Security Group (TSG) experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Advanced/post-graduate degree in a related technical discipline.
- Graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy (e.g., FBI Academy).
