LiDAR Analyst

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented LiDAR Analyst. Do you have experience in processing and analyzing LiDAR point cloud data? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

You will work with advanced LiDAR datasets to generate accurate terrain and surface models that support projects in infrastructure, environmental monitoring, and resource management. You will be responsible for processing point cloud data, developing geospatial deliverables, and performing feature extraction and classification tasks using specialized LiDAR software tools.

• Proficiency in LiDAR data processing and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of LAStools, Terra Scan, and Cloud Compare.
• Demonstrated experience generating DEMs, DSMs, and DTMs.
• Solid understanding of LiDAR acquisition principles (airborne and mobile).
• Experience performing feature extraction and classification from point cloud data.
• Familiarity with coordinate systems, projections, and geospatial data formats.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and spatial accuracy.

• Experience with Python or MATLAB for LiDAR data automation or analysis.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, QGIS, or other GIS software for data integration.
• Understanding of remote sensing principles and photogrammetry.
• Exposure to machine learning techniques for point cloud classification.
• Experience with cloud-based LiDAR data platforms and large dataset management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within cross-functional teams.

Pay: $59.50 – $85.00 /hr.
