DUTIES:

* Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements.
* Responsible for understanding the business requirements and designing the application to meet the requirement standards.
* Tasked with E2E implementation.
* Meet with business partners to understand business needs.
* Responsible for working with business SMEs on a day-to-day basis and understanding business requirements.
* Provide demos for completed development work and gather business approval.
* Responsible for overall design of the solution.
* Tasked with designing the E2E solution.
* Work with architect and corresponding team members to ensure the solution is viable and scalable based on the organization architecture needs.
* Design, build, and test applications.
* Design, develop, and unit test the application to ensure it meets business needs.
* Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.
* Responsible for fixing any code defects during the development cycle and to analyze and timely fix any production defects.
* Responsible for ensuring performance of the application is per business requirement needs and ensure we meet our defined SLAs.
* Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
* Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.
* No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or related, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 4 years of relevant work experience.
* In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Experience utilizing at least one of the following databases:
Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle. (2) Experience utilizing at least one of the following code management tools:
Git Lab, Git Hub, Bitbucket, or Subversion; and at least one of the following Code deployment tools:
Git Lab CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Cloudbees, or Open Shift. (3) Experience applying advanced understanding of IT processes and disciplines that include software development, operations, and infrastructure to: .NET Framework and at least one scripting language such as Batch, Powershell, or Python. (4) Experience working through the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) following agile and CI/CD processes, as well as experience in requirements gathering, design, implementation, and maintenance stages.

Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]PAY RANGE:
