If you are a technical professional with an HR background and looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based out of our St. Louis, MO office, as a Technical Specialist - Digital HCM you will provide technical support and assist in the support of Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) Cloud Application, for Emerson in a global, multi‑Business Group environment.
You will also maintain and support HR, Payroll, Benefits, Self‑Service, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Talent Management, and Compensation Management modules of Oracle HCM Cloud System. In addition, this position will provide technical support in resolving production issues as needed and provide post‑implementation technical product support to customers.
- Acts as a technical consultant to the enterprise, helps identify major areas of development, leads research and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
- Assists in data migration, managing the use of Oracle data loading tools for both initial loads and ongoing data transformation.
- Develops custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher.
- Proactively assists the Technical Services Manager in providing technical support for the Oracle HCM Cloud and E‑Business Suite.
- Design and Develop RICEF objects for Human Resources, Payroll and Core HR modules.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams in different lines of business to collect requirements for Oracle HCM projects.
- Proactively identifies areas of process improvement and assists in their implementation.
You carefully consider all relevant factors and use appropriate decision‑making criteria and principles. You represent own interests while being attentive to others’ interests as well. You identify and seize new opportunities.
Required Qualifications- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area required.
- 2+ years of technical experience writing SQL queries in Oracle database.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- 5+ years of technical experience in HR applications.
- Technical experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Applications – HR, Benefits, Payroll, Self‑Service, Absence Management, Talent Management, and Compensation Management modules.
- Must be able to multitask, evaluate high priorities and deliver quality performance under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service orientation, with a focus on professional interaction with all customers, contractors, and vendors, both internal and external to Emerson.
- Deadline‑oriented with a sense of urgency in meeting project goals.
