DevOps Engineer

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, optimizing system reliability, and ensuring the performance and security of our digital platforms. You will work closely with multiple teams and disciplines, contributing to architectural decisions and driving best practices in cloud operations and automation.

Beyond your technical contributions, you will support continuous improvement initiatives across Dev Ops, Software Development, and Cloud Infrastructure teams. Your entrepreneurial mindset will be instrumental in navigating ambiguity within the organization, helping to enhance both technical efficiency and organizational performance.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Extensive hands-on experience with GCP, including compute, networking, storage, and security services.
Proven expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or similar.
Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.

Deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to balance technical work with management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with multi-cloud environments, including Azure and AWS.
Knowledge of Dev Ops tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, and others.
Familiarity with source control management (e.g., GIT) and collaboration tools (e.g., Atlassian Suite).

Experience with implementing and managing security best practices in cloud environments.
Experience working in large organizations with a strong emphasis on security controls around access to cloud resources, preferably in the healthcare space.
