• Act as a working supervisor on the catering service team within the Sales & Catering Department of the Saint Louis Zoo.
• Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: event set-up and service, event coordination, attending logistics meetings, training of team members, serving as the point person for certain Zoo events, closing down events and enforcing Zoo policies.
• Work closely with Catering Manager and Assistant Manager on all aspects of the catering operation.
• Work closely with members of the Zoo's Sales, Special Events and Culinary teams.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in related field preferred.
• Three to five (3-5) years' catering or banquet experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Must have superior people skills and an eye and orientation for quality.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment and to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be available to work days, weekends and evening events. Hours may vary according to season and business demand.
• All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test.
