A Public Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests as part of the hotel’s ongoing focus on outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

• Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
• Perform dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, emptying soiled linen carts, cleaning/waxing floors, removing trash, insects, debris, emptying ashtrays.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (e.g., mattress flipping, furniture moves) as needed.
• Assist in delivering guest requests and cleaning guest rooms as needed.
