• Answer the phone and take messages/reservations.
• Maintain an accurate waitlist when necessary.
• Welcome guests upon arrival and bid farewell when they leave, creating a lasting positive experience.
• Greet guests in a friendly, upbeat manner and smile to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with all guests.
• Report problems to management immediately.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to provide fast, courteous service.
• Occasionally buss tables to expedite efficient seating of waiting guests.
• Anticipate needs of scheduled special parties.

• At least one year of experience in customer service and/or hosting.
• Must speak fluent English; additional languages preferred.
• Excellent communication skills when interacting with guests, employees, and third parties.
• Strong reading and writing skills for recording and reviewing reservations and table assignments.
• Ability to read, review, and understand seating charts.
• Competent basic mathematics skills.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Attention to detail.
• Capacity to carry or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Handle objects, including food, utensils, and products, while speaking and operating phones.
• Stand, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
• Remain in the entrance or exit location for long periods and move efficiently throughout the facility.
