Production Lead

Overview

NOVO Health keenly focuses on safety and infection control and provides its partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization by department to eliminate excess internal costs. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.

Oversees, monitors, and coordinates Production Team Members activities and ensures best practices are being followed throughout the facility.

• Motivates and ensures his/her team is meeting departmental goals and objectives, including maintaining high quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Builds strong relationships with other department leaders and associates. Interacts with other supervisors to establish maximum utilization of resources and to improve efficiencies.
• Implements processes that improve key performance indicators (i.e., quality, safety, cycle time).
• Provides feedback to Plant Supervisor and Business Manager on ways to increase the efficiencies and effectiveness of the production process.
• Arranges and coordinates safety meetings to ensure safety standards are understood and met.
• Operates machinery when needed.

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous experience leading others
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy objects up to 30 pounds.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Demonstrated customer service, people, leadership, and organization skills with track record of achieving positive business results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
