BJC has an opening for a Delivery & Implementation Manager in our Clinical Engineering department. The role will manage a team of Project Managers by removing barriers and troubleshooting problems. Ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare and knowledge of medical equipment.

In Clinical Engineering, our mission is to provide a team of empowered professionals delivering continued improvement in patient care and equipment planning & support technologies. The Clinical Engineering team provides operational support and maintenance management of diagnostic, treatment, and patient support technologies, including medical equipment planned maintenance, demand and corrective maintenance, operational support for functions employing medical technology, risk management and EH&S support, technology asset management, acquisition and disposal, technology maintenance contract management, and technology capital project planning and management.
Preferred Qualifications Role PurposeThe Manager, Delivery & Implementation is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the technology strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables. Responsibilities include managing technology talent and ensuring that BJC Technology solutions align with business goals and strategy. The role ensures that all initiatives are delivered within the agreed cost, quality, plan, and time. It also involves developing and establishing strategy and delivery best practices to ensure benefits realization through highly functioning teams.
Responsibilities- Manages individuals including onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, and professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the group’s productivity supports the department’s operational goals.
- Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect budget goals.
- Authorizes portfolio structure and aligns portfolios with strategies and opportunities. Leads portfolio management framework, prioritization of PMO resources, governance, and reporting on benefits realization.
- Manages, monitors and reports the systems development activities supporting the organization’s objectives. Ensures projects meet architectures, standards, methods, tools, and privacy requirements. Facilitates resource utilization.
- Supports identification and assessment of emerging technologies, documents impacts, threats and opportunities. Contributes to technology road mapping and knowledge sharing.
- Develops stakeholder management strategies and plans. Builds relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. Acts as a single point of contact and negotiates to ensure needs are met. Oversees monitoring of relationships and lessons learned.
