Under the supervision of the registered nurse, assist in the individualized care of the patient directed toward achieving the patients highest level of physical and mental wellness. Performs designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to nursing care. Assists in unit operational support tasks or duties. Performs duties and responsibilities in manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

- Preferred Education: Successful completion of a High School Diploma and/or Nurse Assistant training course.
- Preferred Experience: Behavioral Health, Psych, or Direct Support Professional.
The physical demands described here are the representative of the minimums that must be met by an employee to perform all essential functions of the job.
- Minimal: Lift floor to waist height of < 30 lbs (horizontally) and < 40 lbs force, balance.
- Frequent: Hand coordination, data entry.
