Certified Athletic Trainer – Injury Prevention Specialist
SSM Health Physical Therapy is seeking a full‑time Certified Athletic Trainer
, Exercise Physiologist
, or individual with a similar background to work as an Injury Prevention Specialist in an industrial setting across the St. Louis County and Metro East region. The position is full‑time, 40 hours per week and offers on‑site injury prevention services at industrial client locations.

- Full‑time on‑site coverage for industrial client(s) under the direction of the人士 Program Manager
- Delivery of a full continuum of onsite injury prevention services at assigned location(s). Prevention services include:
- Assessment, triage, & first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
- Ergonomic risk fortress & implementation of ergonomic solutions
- Design & implementation of functional আন্তর্জাতিক, preventative exercise & stretching
- Job coaching & behavior modification both one‑on‑one & in group settings
- Providing education & training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
- Office ergonomics
- Employment testing
- Health & wellness consultation
- Documentation & reporting on employee encounters
- Regular communication with both client and select leadership
- BS Degree required
- National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA‑BOC) Board of Certification
- Eligible for state license (if targeting ATC)
- Minimum one year experience; industrial setting experience is a plus
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment & prevention interventions
