Schedule:
Full Time, Monday through Friday
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Customer service experience preferred
- Greet and register patients; verify identity and manage check-in/check-out
- Answer phones and perform clerical tasks including Epic charting, scanning, faxing, and document handling
- Schedule appointments, procedures, and testing; provide timely estimates and Good Faith Estimates
- Monitor provider schedules, communicate delays, and coordinate with staff to ensure efficient clinic flow
- Maintain accurate registration, EHRs, and assigned work queues
- Handle patient concerns professionally and escalate as needed
- Manage daily cash drawer, accounts receivable tasks, and payment plans
- Support EPIC updates, departmental initiatives, and clinic communications
- Maintain a safe, clean reception area and adhere to safety, privacy, and infection control policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and billing processes
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including accurate data entry
- Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused approach
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy policies
- Adaptable, professional, and able to work well under pressure
- Effective problem-solving and issue resolution skills
