* Job Summary:
** Therapists provide professional mental health services to individuals, families, and couples. They assess, diagnose, and treat clients using evidence-based techniques such as counseling, psychotherapy, and behavior modification. The goal is to help clients improve coping skills, relationships, and overall well-being.
** Essential Duties:
*** Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
* Complete assessments, intake screenings, and diagnose clients.
* Develop and maintain treatment plans tailored to client needs.
* Document services and ensure compliance with state and agency standards.
* Participate in clinical meetings and provide consultation as needed.
* Handle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services.
* Facilitate specialty services such as trauma or co-occurring therapy.
* Provide guidance and supervision to trainees if required.
* Represent the agency professionally in the community.
** Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
*** Expertise in diagnosing and treating mental health and/or substance use disorders.
* Knowledge of caseload management, therapeutic techniques, and legal/ethical guidelines.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to follow direction and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

* Education & Experience:
*** Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
* Licensed as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the practicing state.
* Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states.
* Comfortable providing telehealth services.
** Employment Requirements:
*** Successful background check and fingerprinting.
* Completion of new hire orientation and ongoing training (Relias).
* Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
* First Aid and CPR certifications within 3 months of hire.
* Behavioral management training within 30 days.
* Understanding of Collaborative Service Goals (CSGs).

* Physical Requirements:
*** Sedentary work: sitting most of the time, occasional walking/standing.
* Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
* Repetitive hand, arm, and finger movements for typing and writing.
