Since its founding in 1985, Queen of Peace Center (QOPC) has been providing family-centered behavioral healthcare for women, children, and families. As a member of the Federation of Catholic Charities, we serve the metropolitan and surrounding St. Louis area through four core programs: prevention, education, treatment, and housing.

CORE FUNCTIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Ability to work well in a team environment and be flexible.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week, sharing hours between the hiring agency and EPICC team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and listening.
- Comfort working with diverse populations and commitment to equity.
- Support for medication-assisted treatment as an appropriate recovery approach.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and EHR systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Missouri Peer Specialist certification at hire or within 30 days.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous lived experience with substance use and recovery for at least two years; former treatment service user is a plus.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
- Ability to pass background checks or request exceptions.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
