* Perform technician duties under the supervision of the Program Director or designee.
* Fill BHT shifts as needed to maintain uninterrupted client services and required staffing patterns.
* Oversee daily client/patient activities, ensuring adherence to expectations and rules, and communicate vital information to the treatment team.
* Be available for guidance from on-site staff at all times, including when not physically present in the building.
* Assist in client orientation regarding rules and rights.
* Schedule technicians and nurses in accordance with program policies and procedures under Program Director supervision.
* Ensure proper staffing coverage per contractual standards; monitor and manage overtime.
* Interview, hire, and train new technician and nurse staff under Program Director supervision.
* Ensure staff complete required 36 hours of training every two years, including assigned Relias Learning modules and Narcan administration.
* Develop individualized training plans for staff and facilitate regular supervision meetings; maintain documentation per CARF/State Regulatory/company standards.
* Complete evaluations and status notices in a timely manner.
* Schedule and facilitate at least one monthly staff meeting and/or training; maintain documentation.
* Ensure UA processes and agency procedures are followed and staff are properly trained.
* Ensure nurse coverage is adequate for non-MMID services and communicate role expectations clearly.
* Ensure adherence to medication management system per program and agency procedures.
* Train BHT and nurse staff in PFH self-administration of medication protocol within 30 days of hire.
* Maintain relationships with catering/food service providers and manage food ordering, storage, and allocation.
* Ensure staff understand effects of illicit substances, MAT, and common side effects.
* Train BHT staff in basic medical procedures, including blood pressure monitoring, client alertness assessment, COWS/CIWA score interpretation, Narcan, and CPR administration.
* Oversee client transfers into/out of detox and from the Sobering Unit into MMID.
* Ensure staff are trained in facilitating educational groups and completing required documentation; assist in evolving program schedules.
* Participate in clinical staffing and treatment team meetings to provide feedback and facilitate communication between BHTs and the treatment team.
* Demonstrate commitment to long-term and short-term company goals.
* Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director/designee, Vice President, or Executive Team member.
* Thorough knowledge of behavioral health methods, principles, and techniques related to mental health and substance use disorders.
* Knowledge of program policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Understanding of legal requirements and court procedures related to treating mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
* Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within program responsibilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to produce clear and concise reports.
* Knowledge of acute withdrawal processes and interpreting withdrawal symptoms using COWS and CIWA scales.
* Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field

* ** High school diploma with two (2) years of experience in substance use or mental health treatment, including a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience.
* Successful background check, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
* Completion of New Hire Orientation.
* Completion of all required training, including Relias, at hire and annually thereafter.
* Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
* First Aid certification within three months of hire and upon renewal.
* Narcan certification within 30 days of hire; certified to train staff in Narcan administration within three months.
* CPR certification within three months of hire and upon renewal.
