This is a customer‑facing business development‑focused sales role. The Regional Business Manager will take ownership of a defined territory, driving growth through direct provider engagement, distributor/GPO/broker partnerships, and food service integration. A key aspect of this role is promoting Lyons Magnus nutritional products to healthcare operators to understand needs, provide solutions, and ensure adoption of nutrition programs.
Pay Range: $115K – $130K annually + bonus
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible schedule to support work‑life balance)

Regional Coverage: Large focus is Illinois and St. Louis, MO (multi‑state territory with primary focus on these regions)
Travel Requirements: Up to 50% (including overnight travel)
Requirements Core Responsibilities- Own and grow a territory of long‑term care and acute care accounts, driving revenue and product adoption.
- Develop strong relationships with healthcare decision makers - operators, dietitians, administrators, nurses, clinical leaders, and procurement teams to true partnerships.
- Identify and execute business development opportunities, including new accounts, program adoption, and cross‑selling initiatives.
- Collaborate with food service distributors, GPOs, and broker partners to integrate nutrition solutions into menu programs, streamline ordering, and improve operational alignment.
- Develop and execute territory plans, including account prioritization, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
- Partner with marketing and commercial teams to support product launches, promotions, and educational initiatives.
- Monitor territory performance, market trends, and competitive activity, making data‑driven adjustments to drive growth.
- Represent the company at provider meetings, industry events, and educational forums, positioning the organization as a trusted partner.
- Effectively manage company CRM system.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, GPO/IDN guidelines, and company policies
Skills and Abilities
- Proven success in hands‑on sales, business development, and territory growth. Experience working with food service distributors and clinical teams is highly desirable.
- Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, and results‑oriented with strong consultative selling skills.
- Excellent relationship‑building, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Comfortable managing independent territory operations with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the region, including overnights, to support accounts, distributors, GPO, broker, and provider relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare, Nutrition, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in healthcare nutrition, medical device, or food service‑related healthcare sales.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience working with food service distributors and clinical teams is highly desirable.
